The Waziri of Miyetti Allah Kaota Hore Nigeria, Alhaji Sulaiman Abdullahi on Tuesday called on Muslims all over the country to use the event to preach peace and harmony among the people irrespective of religious affiliation.
The Waziri stated this shortly after Muslim prayers to mark the end of 30 days of Ramadan in Tudun Wada, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
According to him, “I urge all Muslim brothers and sisters to celebrate the Sallah peacefully, and they should not misbehave especially those driving motorcycles or vehicles to conduct themselves in a very orderly manner. Today is a day of celebration and not a day to remember mistreatment or hurt of the past, but to forgive”
He therefore used the occasion to call on the Federal government and the security agencies to release the National President of Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Abdullahi Bodijo having concluded their investigation and found nothing indicting on his part maintaining that the best time for such a call is Sallah.
