OGOJA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN URGED TO REMAIN STEADFAST AND COMMITTED.

 

✓ Cleric Commends Chief Agbeh’s One Year of Purposeful Leadership and Visible Development.

OGOJA – The Catholic Cathedral Administrator of St. Benedict Cathedral, Ogoja, Rev. Fr. Francis Odock Agbor, has charged the Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Chief Hon. Christopher Eweh Agbeh, to remain steadfast, resilient, and true to his word in the discharge of his duties as the Chief Executive and Chief Security Officer of Ogoja Local Government Area.

Rev. Fr. Agbor gave the charge during a special thanksgiving Mass held at the Council Secretariat to mark the Chairman’s one year in office. He commended Chief Agbeh for what he described as “a creditable performance above board” within his first year of stewardship, noting that his leadership had brought visible transformation and tangible development to the area.

While offering prayers for divine guidance and blessings, Rev. Fr. Agbor urged the Chairman to continue carrying the people along in the governance process. He expressed confidence that Chief Agbeh’s “signature projects” would remain indelible in the annals of Ogoja’s development history.

 

In his appreciation message, Chief Hon. Christopher Agbeh expressed profound gratitude for the cordial working relationship his administration had enjoyed with stakeholders and the state government over the past year. He reaffirmed his commitment to addressing the challenges confronting the people, adding that his deep understanding of local issues would continue to inform policies and interventions aimed at alleviating hardship and improving livelihoods.

 

The Chairman thanked the people of Ogoja for their unwavering support and pledged to consolidate on the achievements recorded so far, ensuring that Ogoja retains its pride of place in Cross River State.

 

A major highlight of the event was the formal presentation of the Best Performing Local Government Council Chairman in Nigeria on Rural Integration Award conferred on Chief Agbeh by the Local Government Merit Award Centre, Abuja, in recognition of his outstanding performance in grassroots development and service delivery.
