OGOJA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN MARKS ONE YEAR OF PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP

OGOJA – The Chief Press Secretary to the Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Sonnie Okem, Ph.D, has congratulated the Council Chairman, Chief Hon. Christopher Eweh Agbeh, on his remarkable one-year anniversary in office, describing his tenure as one of purposeful leadership, integrity, and service-driven transformation.

 

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Media and Publicity Unit of the Council, Hon. Okem lauded Chief Agbeh for his dynamic and visionary leadership which, within just one year, has redefined grassroots governance and inspired renewed public confidence in the future of Ogoja.

 

According to the statement, Chief Agbeh’s administration has recorded notable achievements through prudent management of resources, inclusive policies, and people-oriented programmes that have positively impacted every ward of Ogoja Local Government Area.

 

Among the key interventions highlighted were the rehabilitation of rural roads, installation of solar lights, improvement of primary healthcare facilities, and the empowerment of youths and women. These efforts, Okem stated, demonstrate the Chairman’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people and the sustainable growth of the community.

“Your leadership style, anchored on humility, transparency, and accessibility, continues to inspire hope and confidence in a brighter future for Ogoja,” the message read. “Indeed, your first year in office has set a solid foundation for sustainable growth and development.”

 

Hon. Okem further expressed optimism that Chief Agbeh’s continued leadership would usher in greater accomplishments and divine wisdom, urging him to remain steadfast in steering Ogoja towards greater heights.

 

He concluded by commending the Chairman’s commitment to service, noting that his administration’s achievements within a short period stand as a model of progressive local governance in Cross River State.
