OBANLIKU POLICE APPREHEND FLEEING RAPIST AFTER THREE-DAY MANHUNT.

The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Obanliku Divisional Police Headquarters, Sankwala Town, CSP Nnorom Lasbrey, and his team have successfully arrested Fredaline Abi, a teacher who allegedly raped his 18-year-old stepdaughter in Bendi, Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State.

Fredaline Abi was tracked down and apprehended after spending three days on the run. The suspect will be transferred to the State Police Command at Diamond Hill, Calabar, for further investigation and prosecution, while the survivor was taken to the Obanliku General Hospital for medical attention.

The arrest is being widely praised as a testament to the professionalism and commitment of the Obanliku Police Command under CSP Nnorom Lasbrey’s leadership.

Residents have commended the DPO and his men for their swift response and diligent efforts in bringing the suspect to justice, reinforcing public trust in the security services within the Local Government.
