EMPOWERMENT FOR COOPERATIVE SOCIETIES, AS GOVERNOR PRINCE OTU PREPARES TO MARK TWO YEARS IN OFFICE.

 

CALABAR – In commemoration of his second year in office, His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, is set to empower Cooperative Societies across the state. The event underscores the administration’s unwavering commitment to strengthening local economies and fostering community-based enterprises.

 

The landmark event, hosted by Archbishop Prof. Margaret Minika Ene-Ita, Honourable Commissioner for Social Welfare and Community Development, Cross River State, is scheduled to take place today, Saturday, 24th May 2025, at Pyramid Hotels on Highway, Calabar, at 3PM prompt.

 

The empowerment programme is a flagship initiative of the People’s First administration. It represents a tangible effort to boost grassroots development and promote economic inclusion across the length and breadth of Cross River State. By focusing on cooperative societies, the Governor’s initiative is poised to unlock opportunities for thousands of citizens, ensuring that no one is left behind in the quest for a more prosperous future.
