Victory for Labour Party Cross River State as the High Court of Cross River State rules in favor of the interim leadership of Labour Party.

 

The High court of Cross River State of Nigeria, Calabar Judiciary Division, restrains Cross River State Independent National Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) from withdrawing recognition, attention, credence or cooperation from the leadership of Labour Party led by Comrade John O. Ushie Ph.D, JP as State Chairman of the Interim Leadership Committee.

 

The “Interlocutory Injunction Order” which was delivered by Hon. Justice Edem Ita Kooffreh further stated that the Federal High Court judgement of Abuja has no effect on the leadership of Labour Party in Cross River State and further orders that the application be granted thus in favor of the Labour Party interim Leadership of the State.

 

COURT ORDER GRANTED AFTER THE HEARING BETWEEN LABOUR PARTY, COMR. JOHN USHIE, OGAR OSIM AND CROSSIEC ON 25TH OCTOBER 2024.
