President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has implemented the highly anticipated cabinet reshuffle, resulting in significant changes to key ministerial positions.
Dr. Betta Edu, formerly Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, has been succeeded by Dr. Nentanwe Yilwatda. Concurrently, John Owan Enoh has been reassigned as Minister of State for Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Notably, both Dr. Edu and Mr. Enoh hail from Cross River State. Dr. Edu had faced corruption allegations and a prolonged EFCC investigation, which concluded with her clearance shortly before the reshuffle. Meanwhile, Mr. Enoh transitions from his previous role as Minister of Sports Development.
