The Israel Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant stated in a speech at a Graduation Ceremony for cadet officers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in Southern Israel that Hamas has only two options, surrender or die, hence, there is no third option.

According to Gallant, three components of effective leadership are dedication to the mission, leading by personal example, and recognising that taking responsibility is the foundation of authority. His position seemed to indirectly point to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He also addressed the challenges faced by Israel on various fronts, highlighting the complexities of the conflicts in the North, South, and other undisclosed locations.

As reported by the Times of Israel, Gallant emphasised the tough nature of the war Israel has been engaged in while asserting that Hamas has limited options of choice, either of “surrender or death” without a third alternative.

“Hamas has only two options: Surrender or Death, there is no third option.

We are achieving the goals of the war: the dismantling of Hamas as a Military system and a Governing system, and the return of all the hostages to their homes,” he says.
