Amidst outpour of emotions, the remains of Late Pa. Robert Arembang Okpa was Yesterday, committed to mother earth in his home town Ogada I, Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River State.

 

Leading Party faithfuls of the ruling All Progressive Congress ( APC), Obubra Chapter to the funeral service in honour of the deceased, The Illustrious Son of the Soil and Cross River State Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation Development extolled the sterling qualities of Pa Robert and admonished his Children to build on the good legacies of their late Father.

 

In his Condolence Message to the bereaved family, Commissioner Johnson Ebokpo expressed heartfelt sympathy over the demise noting that it was a colossal loss to the land of Obubra and beyond. He prayed to God to grant Mr. Moses Arembang and his entire family, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss while also praying for the repose of the soul of Pa. Robert Arembang

 

Other Sympathizers took turns to pour tributes to the departed soul and also commiserated with Mr. Moses Arembang, one of the sons of the deceased who is a successful businessman, committed Chieftain, and a critical stakeholder of the All Progressive Congress.

 

Conducting the funeral service, the officiating Minister admonished believers to live a life worthy of emulation like the late Pa. Robert Arembang who until his death remained committed to rendering selfless services to God and humanity.

 

The funeral Service was well attended by dignitaries across the State, among whom are Barr. Mrs Margret Ebokpo, the Chairman NYCN, Comr. Dan Obo, Dr. Cletus Omono, Hon. Glory Okpa, Mr. Ambrose Ewona, Dr. Adomi Jimita and, Barr. Sylvanus Inyang among others.
