FORMER SSG, ZAINAB EXPRESSES JOY AS VP SHETTIMA COMMISSIONED MASAKA-LUVU ROAD.

The former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, Dr Zainab Ahmed on Thursday expressed joy over the timely completion of the Masaka-Luvu Road, Karu Local Government Area, noting that it will benefit the agrarian communities within Luvu and its environs, especially women.
The first Female SSG remarked while speaking with journalists during the official commissioning of the project by the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima at Area 1, Masaka.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain while thanking the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule for his proactive steps in bringing development to the State, especially in the area of infrastructure, also called on the people as well as agencies of government to support the government to enable it to raise sufficient funds to carry out more development that will be of great benefit to the people.
Speaking further, the Nasarawa-born politician used the occasion to call on the Federal Government to support Nasarawa State in development positing that it is the closest to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to her, “The road is one of the major roads that is linking many communities and as such will be of value to the people especially farmers that will want to move their produce to the market. Karu is the closest LGA to FCT, that corridor of nearest should be upbeat to maximally benefit from what the State Government has” she stressed.
