The immediate past Chairman of Biase Local Government Area, Chief (Hon.) Mrs. Ada Charles Egwu held a twin event in Calabar; a Thanksgiving at the Outpouring Assembly International Church, by Goodluck Jonathan bypass and the official launch of the Ada Biase Foundation, on Asuquo Ekpenyong Street, beside Channel View Hotel.
Ada Biase as she’s known, said the purpose of the thanksgiving is to return all the glory to God Almighty for what He has done in her life and will continue to do so.
“Am a product of divine visitation and my story is a testimonial to what God can not do, does not exist!
“I should sincerely thank my Pastor Dr. Tonye Daniels, for standing in the gap spiritually for me and my family. In every Church service I attend, there’s always a lesson to have learned a positive message to advance my knowledge of God and get propelled to do more for humanity.
“Let me use this opportunity to thank the Biase women who came all out in their numbers to grace this occasion. Only a few politicians enjoy such followership after leaving office. This is organic love from the heart and I do appreciate and wouldn’t take it for granted; ‘love is only love when repaid’ On this alter, I want to convey my gratitude to my political father and his wife, Prof., and Dame Mrs. Ivara Esu for their unwavering supports to have me attain and achieve success; I love you both and thank you. “
The launch of the Ada Biase Foundation is simply to impact lives, it’s a dream come true of passion for touching lives.
“I give not because I have in excess; I give because it brings me peace of mind and joy from the heart for sharing the little I have.
We strive hard to empower tomorrow in today.
Hasn’t God been faithful to me and my family?
“I have always envisaged and dreamt that I shall one day float a foundation to extend a hand of fellowship to others, and today comes that day.
This is made possible by my father in-Lord, Dr. Tonye Daniels because I was thinking about how can this come to fruition when there are not enough resources.
Let me quote my Pastor “Ada, your dream must not die, and don’t wait any longer, you must get started because it’s a divine project that will manifest God’s glory! “
“Today is returning all the glory to God and thanking the Biase women for their support and love over the years,” she said.
The climax of the occasion was the distribution of rice, its companion, and some monetary largesse.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion include, Hon. Charles Eko, immediate past Leader of the Council, and several others.
