Their Excellencies, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, and Rev. Mrs. Eyoanwan Otu, cordially acknowledge and invite Cross Riverians and residents alike to join in praises and worship God Almighty for His benevolence and mercy upon the State.
The Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Calabar, His Lordship Most Revd Prof. Christopher Koko-Ete Naseri will be ministering on the importance of thanksgiving and supplications in the life of the people of God, and other ministers of the gospel including, Evangelist Dr. Trinity Ogar, State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and Chairman of the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), His Eminence Rev. Takis Etim Caiafas.
According to the State Chairman of Cross River State Indigenous Gospel Ministers (CRSIGM) Forum, Evangelist Stephen Atunkanre, “the State Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service is to return all the glory to God Almighty for His grace, love, and mercy upon the State in ushering a new season of sweetness.
“We have in the last five months on the last Sundays of every month fasted and prayed as Ministers of the Gospel of Christ across the State to thank God for our Governor, his government, and Cross Riverians, seeking His face and interventions in all we do.
“And it’s important to end the year with a thank you, having atoned for our misdeeds as a people and to usher prosperity in the new year (2024). Oh Lord, let the people praise You!
“Let me use this opportunity to invite us all to the State Interdenominational Thanksgiving Service to appreciate God in advance for what He’s going to do again to us as individuals and as a State,” he said.
