OUR attention has been drawn to spurious claims by Obol Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla of largely influencing the approval and citing of The Federal Polytechnic Ugep, in Ugep Urban as laughable and sheer wishful thinking.
As a Media team to former minister of Niger Delta Affairs in the past President Mohammadu Buhari led government, we greet the development with grimace given the status of our boss and candour; particularly that, he is not giving to cheap political score.
Quickly, it is on record that Pastor Dr. Usani Uguru Usani who featured prominently and seamlessly from successive Military Administrations in the State as a three-time State Commissioner for Youths, Sports and Development; Agriculture and Water Resources as well as Information and Communications, and had at one time being the pioneer State Chairman of the APC-CRS to which we find the distortion of facts against his efforts at bringing the institution to Ugep insulting and degrading to his person and every progressive mind.
Therefore, we make bold to share his position on the matter including the visit of His Royal Majesty, Obol Ofem Ubana, the Paramount Ruler of Yakurr on the visit to the president in establishing the facts.
