Award-winning Author, Chimamanda Adichie, has described the judgement of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT,) that upheld President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the last election, as “shabby and shoddy”.
The Election Petition Tribunal—PEPT, struck out the petitions filed by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party–LP, Mr Peter Obi and his PDP counterpart, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar challenging Tinubu’s victory.
While speaking during an interview on CNN, the renowned author said she was shocked by the ruling of the Tribunal headed by Justice Haruna Tsamani.
According to her, the election was manipulated in a way that was shabby and shoddy and also, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal equally delivered a judgement that was shabby and shoddy.
