In her passionate quest to harness talents and potential, especially in young people across the country, a versatile entrepreneur, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ingrace Talents Academy, Amb. (Mrs) Chiamaka John-Nteka has reiterated the determination of her organisation to equip people with up-to-date skills that will make them competent and give them leverage in the global space.

The CEO stated this as she reeled out a series of programmes for the Business and Talent Conference 2023, tagged Akwa Ibom Got Talent.

She averred that the objective of the conference which is to increase the skills, talent and performance of every individual is aimed at different ages and cut across various organizations and fields.

Addressing journalists recently in an interview in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, Mrs John-Nteka regretted that many people give up their dreams and talents due to lack of encouragement, and mentorship hence the need to motivate, coordinate and direct their God’s given potentials into reality to their benefit and the society.

According to her, “Our heart is always full of joy when we see people that know nothing about their inner strength and quality suddenly awaken the giant within by doing mighty things in different fields of human endeavour”

“We help in nurturing their talent and improve their skills to gain experience in a personalised way, to ensure that they are highly capable and properly positioned to meet up the tetchy workplace and societal demands” she stressed.

Mrs John-Nteka who is also a Peace Ambassador maintained that the old thinking pattern that some people were meant for certain careers and not for others should be completely jettisoned noting that the Akwa Ibom Got Talent program has proven that anybody is capable of doing whatsoever he or she desires”

On the issue of women’s participation and rights, the Peace Ambassador said “We set an implementation of Women’s Rights for the attainment of equal status of women in all aspects of social, political and economic development within the community and the nation at large. We also aspire to create pathways which are more accessible and inclusive for every girl and woman with talent and potential”

Speaking further about the conference slated for August, the entrepreneur per excellence noted that she aims to make people resourceful and to be committed to monitoring and ensuring the implementation of all commitments made by Government Bodies and Agencies through conventions geared towards the welfare and enhancement of the status of all people.

“The purpose is to gather people to allow them to meet one another and network, earn, and discuss issues, ideas and work that focus on topics of mutual concern”

On her dream ten to fifteen years from now, Mrs John-Nteka posited that her vision is to create as well as establish a talent and movies city within Nigeria to enable people to assuage their dreams of becoming globally acclaimed movie stars.

Nonetheless, this year’s Akwa Ibom Got Talent Business and Talent Conference which is slated for the 5th day of August 2023 will feature Moses Armstrong, Iquo Okon, Aniebiet Frances, Lucy Johnson Ekpenyong and is sponsored by Lifting Grace International Foundation, and Women Advocacy and Good Governance Restoration (WAGGR).

It would be recalled that Amb. (Mrs) John-Nteka has two Nigerian movies titled; Dry Truth and It Could Be You, to her credit.
