The current recipient of The Change Ambassadors For Peace And Humanity (CAPH) Award 2023; an internationally recognised honour, Chief Richard Okozi has advocated the need for people to crave peace rather than indulge in matters that create chaos in society.

Chief Okozi stated this in an interview with journalists shortly after receiving his prestigious award at Ibro Hotels Annex, Abuja.

According to him “For me, that’s what I’ve been doing and I want to use this opportunity to let people know that peace is very important to individual life, humanity, and the global community. In any society or country where there’s no peace, it will be very difficult for people to grow.

“so what we’re doing here is an advocacy and awareness for people to know that peace is very necessary and is the ultimate”

Chief Okozi who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Rokozi Care Foundation, advise Nigerians and all mankind to embrace peace noting that things can easily be gotten or realised through peace than war.

Another recipient of the award, Ezuma Smart Chinedu P.hD. while acknowledging the joy he felt over the honour, said it’s another call and audacity for him to do more in creating peace awareness wherever he finds himself.

” I’m so honoured, and it’s a call for more service, we must advocate peace because, in a world where there’s no peace, there will be no development, people will not thrive, they will not succeed, they ain’t do business, so this award is a call to more service to making sure that peace is felt everywhere. It’s a call for me to move forward and propagate peace across the country to make sure that Nigerians live in peace”

The founding President of Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation (UDUF) Africa, therefore calls on Nigerians to learn how to forgive one another irrespective of how hurt they may be.

Earlier, Dr Justine Okechukwu Kingland admonished people to jettison issues that engender violence and relish things that promote justice, peace and harmony among people.

He also stressed the need for people to believe in themselves and always work to earn and not to strive to earn without labour.

“It’s very important to believe in yourself, always work, and do charity work is very key.

No matter what you’re doing always do it with the whole of your heart not minding who is watching, because you’ll never know who is watching. Do good even when nobody is watching you” he pontificates.
