The recent tour across the three Local Government Areas in the Federal Constituency came to an end yesterday with Obanliku as its endpoint, with numerous activities characterizing the engagements ranging from a brief meeting with traditional rulers council forum, special prayers from Gods vessels of honor, inspiring conversations from various ward leaders, youths/students and women and also, award presentation from different socio-political groups, etc.
The high point of the engagement captures the different concerns raised by leaders of various political wards, religious leaders, and youths across all the clans in OBANLIKU. The assurance and renewed hope of the people was again consolidated with the MP’s remarkable speech, what he’s promised in time past, and how he’s been able to interface with them endlessly.
The MP noted that he’s having a social contract with the people, and while the people have fulfilled theirs, it’s incumbent on him to initiate moves towards the fulfillment of his pact with them and also appealed for more support and cooperation from the people as that will aid the process of delivering on the people’s mandate.
