MY STORY ON HOW GOD FIGHT BATTLES ON OUR BEHALF

As a Christian when you’re faced with a false accusation, blackmail, hatred from others, injustice or maltreatment etc; without help from anyone, and you pray to God to take up the fight on your behalf, don’t preempt what He can do for he’s a Defence Strategist and a Master of War.

Where you feel or expect Him to attack from may be the last place God will attempt to strike from. Let me tell us a little story!

One day, it happened that 3 of us were working for a certain Big man and our Boss in his usual magnanimous spirit ask us to take some quantity of soup from the Fridge, warm it and eat eba, my colleague undertook the responsibility, but after everything, he scoops all the meat and other accessories from the soup leaving only a few ‘pomo’ (cow skin) for me.

When I looked at his soup and that of mine since we were eating on the same table, I felt unhappy to have been treated in that manner but I kept cool and quiet.

So, we were eating but having taken just two or three lumps of eba he discovered that there were assorted snails in the soup which he abhors. He quickly handed over the soup to me and here I was with all the meat, assorted snails, pomo, fish and the rest of the other things he first cornered for himself.

Now, what does that infer? It, therefore means our God can fight in such a way we least thought or expected. Did I quarrel with him? No, did I complain? No, I simply said It’s Well within me.

You may be thinking what about this, it’s just about food which may be the last thing on your mind, but I’m just sharing with you God’s style of addressing issues & fighting our battles.

Thus, as Christians let’s endeavour to hand over our battles to the Specialist, and when we do, trust Him to finish the fight but not in the manner we perceive or think.
He knows how and where to take up the fight.
