Professor Jibrin Ibrahim, a social commentator and political scientist earlier today, on AriseTV discussing “Nigeria: Ahead of Tinubu’s Inauguration,”
said that the relative peace we enjoy is as a result of Peter Obi’s calmness and disposition to have advised the Obidients to be calm, hence, he believes in the Judiciary to do the needful as he’s not new to reclaim his stolen mandate through the Court.
He highlighted a statement made by Peter Obi on AriseTV no sooner than the election results were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declaring, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner.
According to Prof. Jibrin, this statement played a significant role in calming and instilling hope in Obi’s millions of supporters within the Obidient Movement. Despite Tinubu’s imminent inauguration as president on May 29, Obi’s remarks reassured his followers and encouraged them to maintain hope in the adjudication process.
On his assurances, Obidients have continued to keep their focus on the judiciary, believing that the final decision may still swing in their favor.
