As Christians, we commemorate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ in Easter, also called Pascha in Aramaic, Greek and Latin.

It is the tenet of our faith. Hence, the celebration of God’s miracle to redeem mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ; a season of rebirth and faith renewed in hope for salvation in our risen Saviour.

Jesus Christ as the Paschal mystery have paid the supreme price in His passion (suffering and crucifixion,) death, Resurrection and Ascension (glorification) to save mankind through sacrifice of dying on the Cross to redeemed the world (you and I)
This behoves on us to reflect and emulate the love of Christ to saving us.

Therefore, let Easter reflect on us, as individuals, as a people and nation.

And so doing, we will see in others; ourselves, and love will abound in us as a nation of just people, in equity, freedom, unity and peace to foster progress in love of mankind, irrespective of our religion, tribe, region and language differential.

If we abide the spirit of sacrifice and love for one another, what transpired in our just concluded elections wouldn’t have happened.

It is therefore my wish for us to make sacrifices for ourselves and our nation, if we must advance and leave behind us stereotypes that does society no good.

In the spirit of Easter, we must learn to forgive and let go bitterness, hate and malice for it’s significant which is sacrifice in love of redemption.

It is on this note, I want you to know how thankful I am for each of you, with love and gratitude; wishing you all a Blessed, HAPPY EASTER, as we allow the Easter to Reflect on Us.
