…Alvin Ochang Campaign Grand Finale:
The Labour Party candidate for Ikom/ Boki Federal Constituency, Mr. OCHANG Alvin Ochang, roundups his official campaign in grand finale in Kakwagom, bringing together the Central Senatorial District, Labour Party candidate, Chief Patrick Okomiso and all State Constituencies candidates of Ikom and Boki.
Mr. Alvin, had earlier met with the Traditional Rulers of Bawop and Kakwagom, Royal Fathers and Chiefs, and the Directorate of Politics and Governance (DPG), a political wing of PFN. where he brought to bare the personality and qualities of H.E Peter Obi, that makes him stand out amongst other Presidential candidates in the February 25, General Election.
According to him, Peter Obi, during his tenure as governor of Anambra State, outshine his peers and came top in ranking in security, education, health, prompt payment of pension and salaries, accountability and prudent management of resources, hence, was able to save for the State about #75b. without borrowing nor leaving any debt for the incoming Administration, an unprecedented development in our political history, nor drawn any pension and gratuity a common thing amongst our ex-governors and politicians.
The combination of Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed, his running mate is the best ticket any political party has put forward and presented to the people of Nigeria, in political history. Labour Party has provided us the alternative and solution.
Therefore, “I urge us all to be conscious and vote our consciences, which can decipher good from bad. It may interest us to know that, never in our history, has the naira, exchange for the naira. Nigeria is on brink of collapse if we fail to do what is right and just, then, we’re doomed.
“Labour Party through Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed, is offering Nigerians, hope of a ‘new Nigeria’ that is possible, were peace, justice, freedom, unity and love will abound, and not religion, tribal sentiments which has been foisted on us to hate ourselves for no just cause rather than to perpetuate evil and underdevelop Nigeria for selfish interest.
“Let’s all be part of history to usher in a government that will turn around our fortune for good. I want to assure us that, Peter Obi, is capable and trustworthy when he said, he’ll take Nigeria from consumption to production.
“On my part, I’m coming to serve the people of Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency and to contribute my quota to change our narrative and let people know that, politics can be played with sincerity of purpose and honesty of intention; because if we continue to allow bad and worse people to rule us while good ones sit on the fence, it will be the punishment the wise will suffer and jeopardising our unity and safety.
“The coming elections will help us ascertain how many Nigerians are insane and comfortable with the present situation and will want to do the wrong thing again and again and expecting a better society.
“In all honesty, God has provided us the solution to our problems and it’s left on us to do what is expected of us,” he said.
Others who spoke at the grand finale were, Chief Patrick Okomiso, Labour Party Senatorial candidate for Central Senatorial District. Surveyor Nkoyo Otu, State Women Leader, Labour Party, Comrade Godwin Amoikwen, Chairman, NLC Party Committee and Labour Party, State Vice Chairman.
Prayers and blessings were offered to Peter Obi/Datti Baba Ahmed, Alvin OCHANG and other Labour Party candidates by their Royal Fathers, HRH Pius O. Okafa 1, Clan Head of Bawop. Chief Thomas Nku, Ata Otu of Abedebede, and Chief Emmanuel Odey, Ata Otu of Ajirija, Kakwagom.
And the Pastors of Directorate of Politics and Governance (DPG) led by Rev. Patrick Omang.
