It was celebration galore as the people of Mbarakom Ward came out in large numbers to welcome the APC Candidates into their community.
The Honorable Commissioner for Petroleum Resources, Rt Hon Itaya Asuquo Nyong assured the APC Candidates of total support in Mbarakom. The former House of Assembly Member noted that the leaders and people of Mbarakom will speak in one voice, he charged the electorates to remain steadfast with APC which is the only party that will bring succour to the people.
Addressing the crowd of supporters, APC Cross River South Candidate, Asuquo Ekpenyong disclosed to the teeming supporters that APC is coming with a whole lot of packages for the people including attracting more Federal presence to the Community. He asked them to vote APC from top to bottom.
Candidate for Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Onun Dr Emil Inyang on his part assured the people of Mbarakom Ward of his eagerness to bring development to their community and empower those willing to start small scale businesses.
Ntufam Okon Owuna who was elated by the show of love and acceptability of APC Candidates vowed to attract projects and bring smiles to both the young and the old. He charged them to mobilise and vote APC in all the 5 elections.
Earlier the team led by the DGs, Oqua Edet Oqua, Prof Uti Egbai visited the Clan Head of Mbarakom Village, HRH Ntufam Sylvester Etim Etagbor and the Clan Head of Njaghachang, HRH Ntufam Patrick Edet Arek. Others in the team were Rt Hon Matthew Olory, Akamkpa Chapter Chairman, Hon Raphael Ntui and Former Chairman of Akamkpa, Hon Clement Itutop amongst many other important stakeholders of Akampka constituency 1.
