The Labour Party candidate for Ikom/ Boki Federal Constituency, Hon. Alvin OCHANG took his Campaign to Ofutop 1 and 2 in Ikom State Constituency 1 to Ekpokpa Nkum, Ekunela-Agbaragba and Alesi Communities.

In his messages to the people, he said, “we must make judicious use of the golden opportunity before us to vote into offices, candidates whom have shown capacity, competence, integrity and character in their past engagement both in private and in public services.
“And on this note, the duo of Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed comes handy. Hence, they’re tested and trusted. 2023, is a year of sober reflection and restitution from everyone of us, on the mistakes we’ve made to vote bad people into government not minding our consciences and the future of our children and the nation. Obi’s records as Governor of Anambra State and in the private world is there and can be verified and has become a nightmare to other Presidential candidates who’re no match in all ramifications.
“On my part, I’ve contributed to the socio-economic development of the finance sector of Nigeria and by extension the people and not limited to the Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency alone. I wouldn’t want to eulogies myself because I come before you to seek for your votes. To be modest about my little contribution to advance humanity, let’s go verify who Alvin OCHANG truly is.
“I’m vying for election because our continues seating on the fence and allowing those who are not interested in our well being is not a healthy development and will not help in anyway to advance Nigeria. Therefore, the punishment we’ve suffered in the past, is as a result of not participating in the government of worse men to changing it.
“I’m going into politics for service to our people and humanity to better our lives and contribute my quota to the success of the New Nigeria of Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed, and it’s ‘POssible’.
“And on this note, we all most vote for Labour Party across board. Hence, our last chance for a peaceful Nigeria, a just society, where freedom, unity and love abound, and the labour of our heroes past shall not be in vain.
“Let me tell us, we’re all labourers and therefore deserve our wages and this can only be made possible when we become members of the Labour Party, taking complete owner to determine our destinies and the future of next generations. Therefore, go get your PVC’s and vent your angers by voting out this gang of people, not interested in our welfare, security, safety and peace.
“2023, is take back time, because you’re the boss and the determinant of how the country is governed. Our government is the reflection of votes; we must henceforth be interested in the people we vote to represent us at all levels. Enough is enough and the future is our choices today,” said Alvin.
In the Campaign Train were Patriarch Amb. Ogar Osim, State Chairman of Labour Party and Governorship Candidate of the Labour Party in Cross River.
Surveyor Nkoyo Otu, State Women Leader. Dr. Hannah Etta, Special Adviser to the State Chairman on Women Affairs.
Hon. Mrs. Caroline Martins, Ward 6, Calabar Municipality Women Leader.
The highpoints of the campaign were the declaration of support for Labour Party and their candidates, and blessings of their Rural Fathers, HRH Bassey Okey Clan Head of Ekpokpa Nkum, HRH Osim Nzan, Acting Clan Head of Ekunela Agbaragba and HRH Christopher Ozan, Head Chief of Alesi.
