SSA COMMUNICATION AND ADVOCACY.

I sincerely thank His Excellency, the Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prof) Ben Ayade, for the support and encouragement and for according me key functional roles in his highly successful administration, positions that has enabled me to play significant roles that have crystalized in my appointments at the national level.

As my father, mentor and life coach, you have demonstrated and taught me over the years that, indeed, hard work, perseverance and patience pave the way for all round fulfilment as nothing good comes easy. I will therefore always go the extra mile to assiduously execute all assignments under my purview in order to continuously justify the confidence reposed in me.

The solid prosperity framework he has ably enacted in all sectors of our State economy and social life will not be forgotten in the annals of our history and in the fullness of time, his name will be written in gold.

Specifically, I have been privileged to be appointed Assistant Director New Media of the APC Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, Chairman Cross River State Publicity Committee of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Assistant Secretary Media and Publicity Directorate of the APC Cross River State Campaign Council as well as the Chairman Media and Publicity of Yala Local Government Area APC Campaign Council.

I do not at all, take these appointments for granted. They have been obviously challenging, fulfilling and exciting and the experiences gathered therefrom cannot be quantified in monetary terms.

I truly value and appreciate His Excellency as well as the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for giving me these rare opportunities to carve a niche for myself in the Cross River State and Nigerian media space.

My Leaders at the national level are equally deeply appreciated for finding me worthy to be given such great assignments.

My interactions in all this committees has really exposed me to the inner workings of political party machinery and taught me the many nuances of loyalty as well as the several layers of party structures pivotal to electoral victories.

His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade has created a paradigm shift and the many golden opportunities granted hitherto unknown political figures and ordinary citizens in Cross River State, is second to none in the Country. Their lives have been significantly altered, the youths are better exposed and educated and the foundational framework laid for true industrialization are granite achievements that are before now, totally unknown to Cross Riverians.

Your Excellency, even at the twilight of your administration’s departure from political power, I will continue to do my utmost best to keep up with the last lap of every governmental commitment and the ongoing electioneering campaigns to enable the administration to finish strong and at the zenith of public applause.

Your Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade, the Executive Committee of the Cross River State All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Media And Publicity Directorate of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and the Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, I owe you all a million thanks.

BEATRICE AKPALA.
