PRP CANDIDATES IN CRS CONFIDENT AS NEW INEC REC PARLEYS CANDIDATES OF PARTIES AHEAD OF 2023 ELECTIONS

Deputy Governorship Candidate of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in Cross River State,  Nsan Arit Bassey Thursday honoured an invitation by the newly deployed Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner to the State.

Professor Gabriel Oritsemolebi Yomere had on 28 November 2022 advanced invitation entitled: Invitation to a meeting of the newly deployed Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Prof. Gabriel Oritsemolebi Yomere with candidates participating in the 2023 general elections;  aimed at charting a way forward ahead of the less than 90-day forthcoming elections.

Other PRP candidates in attendance were Igweng Christopher Igweng, Obubra 1 State Constituency; Prince Victor Akpam, Obudu State Constituency; among others.

Candidates of other political parties also attended the event held at Mike Igini Hall, INEC Cross River State, Murtala Muhammed Highway Calabar.

The event was segmented into two, starting with gubernatorial candidates and deputies by 12 pm and House of Assembly candidates by 2 pm.
