The Leader of the Cross River State House of Assembly Rt Honourable Peter Odey says the return of governorship position to the Southern part of Cross River State is for equity and justice

Speaking on Wednesday in his office when the Frontline Campaign Group for Ayade Back to Senate and Otu for Governor led by Chris Abang paid him a courtesy visit, Odey said the All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Cross River State is an intelligent, fair and man of the people who would be governor for everyone and all parts of the state come 2023 and as such no one should entertain any fears

“There is no doubt that our candidate has an enviable track record of fairness and will deliver the goods to all parts of Cross River State. It is only proper and just that with all zones of the state haven held the number one position it should return to the south where it was kick started in 1999”

He said he was sure that with the calibre of persons leading the Frontline Campaign Group, there would be massive votes harvest for the APC and landslide victory in 2023
“I have just spoken with our candidate and told him you are here and he wishes you well. You have his support and mine and I can assure you Senator Professor Ben Ayade will return to the Senate and also occupy the exalted position of Senate President which is what this state needs and the calibre of person Nigeria requires at this point of our political evolution”

Speaking earlier, Mr Chris Abang said the Frontline Campaign Group has strong presence in all the polling units, wards and local governments in the northern part of the state and it is carrying out door- to- door sensitisation of voters for the APC

“We are here on representative capacity. Our membership is large. We are carrying out campaign for all the APC candidates across board and from what we are seeing in the field, victory would be landslide for the party in 2023”
