The POSN TEAM, Delta State, played Host to the POSN South South and South East States at the Prestigious Grand Hotel, Asaba, Delta State Capital in a two-day Summit put together by POSN-National Team, in conjunction with the Diaspora Medics for Good Governance (DM-4-GG), in Ohio, United States of America. It was a gathering of POSN Political Technocrats drawn from all the SS/SE States of the Federation.Peter Obi’s Movement across board, both in the local and diaspora political space, is no longer the social media platforms propaganda as earlier clamoured by critics, but has generated into a cloud of realities on the desks in all offices, in the mouth of every speaker, in the ears of every listener, on the streets of every community, etc. It has now become the subject matter of every discussion on daily basis. All of these, are the outcries of the citizenry for a better governance.
Day 1: MEDICAL OUTREACH.
On Friday, September 16, 2022, The Diaspora Medics for Good Governance, known as DM-4-GG for short, took a centre stage in administering to the health needs of the entire indigenes of Asaba Community, at no cost. Free tests and free drugs, courtesy, Diaspora Medics for Good Governance, all the way from Ohio, United States of America.
This laudable and kind gesture was greeted with joy as the entire Communities thronged the venue (Ogbogonogo Market), along Nnebisi Road, Asaba for free Medical Services until the members of the PDP-led Administration of Oshimili South LGA disrupted the program. It was gathered that the approval given to POSN and the Diaspora Medics for Good Governance team (USA), for the free Medical excercise, ought to have been obtained approval directly from the Oshimili South LGA Chairman instead of obtaining same from the Ogbogonogo Market Manager, who was also appointed by the same government. What a clandestine display and show of shame from LGA officials! The reasons are not far fetched though, it didn’t stop the Conference.
Day 2: SOUTH-SOUTH/SOUTH EAST SUMMIT.
It was occasioned by the arrival of POSN delegates from the SS/SE States, other guests in their large numbers from various Support groups including the Women for Peter Obi (WPO), Take Back Naija and others within and outside the state.

She charged participants to see the Peter Obi’s project as a great move to change the narrative of this giant of Africa. She further stated that we all should harness our resources towards the success of Peter Obi/Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, come 2023.
The keynote Address delivered by the ever committed Delta State Labour Party Chairman, Chief Ambassador Tony Ezeagwu, who represented Prof Pat Utomi, focused on the theme: “Developing Grassroot Structure for Effective People-Oriented Democracy”. He further emphasized on the need for participants to believe in themselves on their resolve to embark on grassroot Mobilization for the Principal’s agenda of taking back this Nation from tyrannical rulership. He charged POSN and all other Peter Obi Support groups to step up their games in selling our only brands: Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed team to the citizenry. To this end, the Ambassador charged every Nigerian, who loves a better change for this country, to embrace and take the message of “Papa, Mama, Pickin in the Party’s logo” to the grassroot.

The training specifically was an expository leading, on grassroot Mobilization and sustenance of credible electorates for Peter Obi agenda. She exemplified her wealth of practical experience and influence on translating her efforts in leading men, women and youths into the OBIdient family, even in the phase of strong political oppositions in Imo State.
The climax of the programme was the endorsement of Peter Obi/Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed by the SS/SE States POSN coordinators.
The Chief Master of Ceremony, who is also the National Director of Communications, POSN and a pioneer member of the POSN, Prince Emeka Kalu, a.k.a. “The Magic Finger” ably assisted by Comrade McCollins Nwose, the Delta State POSN Media Coordinator, where they both turned the occasion into a humourous entertainment, but strictly people-oriented business forum for Peter Obi agenda. It was a “bomb”.
