This was contained in the message of felicitations by APC Cross River South Senatorial Candidate, Asuquo Ekpenyong sent out to the Nigerian Muslim Ummah on the ocassion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
Ekpenyong who visited the Muslim faithfuls described the moment as a ‘positive moment when our faith in God is rekindled, the efficacy of brotherly love re-ignited, hope, trust and patriotism for country looking stronger than ever’

In a similar visit to Biase, he was accompanied by the Candidate for Akamkpa/Biase Federal Constituency, Onun Dr. Emil Inyang. The two Frontline Candidates celebrated the day with Muslim Community in Biase Local Government Area.
