First, let me return all glory to God for the gift of life, for His immeasurable bleesings and kindness, His uncommon and priceless favours; His invaluable love towards me.
Thank you, precious Lord for bringing your son thus far in his political career. I’m awe-struck. Hallowed be thy name!!
I thank my family- my beloved wife and our adorable kids; my beloved parents and wonderful siblings- for their patient, sacrifices and contributions towards this journey.
And with a heart filled with joy and with extreme humility and a sense of responsibility, I wish to also solemnly express my heart-warming gratitude to the leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their distinctive but crucial roles in my emergence as the party’s candidate for Cross River South Senatorial district in the just concluded primaries.
I most especially thank my leader and leader of the party in the state and South-South geopolitical zone, His Excellency, Governor Ben Ayade for his fatherly role.
Your Excellency, Sir, thank you for believing in me, thank you for giving me a voice, thank you for giving me the platform and thank you for being a quintessential father. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible. You have been an inspirator and a life coach to me. I’m grateful, sir.
I wish to also express my gratitude to the party stakeholders, especially our state chairman, Barrister Alphonsus Ogar Eba for working round the clock to ensure a rancour-free, and peaceful primaries.
My warm appreciation also goes to Chief Victor Effiom Ekpo for his maturity, selflessness, sense of purpose and for allowing the collective good of all to prevail over primordial sentiment and personal goal. Thank you for the concession.
Finally, I thank my teeming supporters and various support groups for staying through this cause, believing in, and working to ensure that this project came to fruition; thank you for the many days and hours you stood in the rain and endured the pangs of sunshine to see that we achieve this monumental milestone.
I will always remain indebted to you all for going the extra mile to make this happen.
I implore you all to join hands with me as the real work begins now to ensure a 100% winning formula across board for our great party the APC in the general elections.
