The newly installed Mai’Angwa of Kuzowopye community,Auta Ballefi;Mr Audu Ashilolo Ibrahim has reiterated the commitment of his reign to assisting the widows,widowers and the orphans to enable them live a better live.

The new leader who stated this in an interview with journalists shortly after his installation maintained that as a former community leader he was appall by the suffering of the orphans and widows having seen what they passes through on daily bases,hence the need to help them.

“By the support of my committee i will support the widows,widowers and orphans because as a person I don’t like seeing people suffering and crying; I believe we have a lot of widows,widowers and orphans around us,so it is my utmost desire to assist them live a better live.

Mr Audu also posited that he will do all it take to give the people adequate security noting that development, peace and advancement cannot thrive were there is no security.

” What I will love to do first of all is security, because what my people are passing through in this community is security challenge and I’m not happy about it,when I was the chairman of the community I also tried to secure the area even though I had less power to now; but today I’m the Mai’Angwa of this area with more power so I will do more to secure my people”

Beaming with smiles, Mr Audu expressed joy over his coronation noting that he hasn’t been so happy in his live having seeing loved ones,friends,associates,well wishers and the general public honouring him in such a manner.

Meanwhile,the Mai’Angwa’s wife,Mrs Ruth Audu said she will continue to give necessary support to the husband(Mai’Angwa) to succeed.

She noted that as a woman she will continue to support the women folk with relevant information on how to care for themselves and their children by helping them guide against preventable diseases.

Speaking further Mrs Audu encourage the women to continue to sustain the peace and love that have existed among them for years.

“Since the existence of this community there has been love,unity and peace among the people,so my message to all women is to sustain these legacy”
