Emana Duke Ambrose-Amawhe was attacked yesterday along with her campaign team at the PDP Secretariat in Ikot Ene, Akpabuyo LGA.
This attacked came shortly after she was given a rousing welcome at her Akpabuyo village, Esuk Mbat Umo Edem, Ikot Edem Odo ward.
From all indication the attack seems targeted and seemingly sponsored by politicians who are scared of Emana’s rising profile and acceptability by the good people of Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar South.

We can never ever be intimidated and Emana Ambrose-Amawhe will not be stampede out of the race.
The hoodlums who invaded the Party Secretariat with guns, machetes and Jack knives carted away valuables and were not masked. They came with a list of who they came to attacked most especially Emana, the DG. ABEGA and Hon. Edem Ene Ironbar who escaped several machetes attack by shielding himself with rubber chairs.
However, the good news is, we have recovered some vital personal effect they carted away.
Kindly remain calm as we are undeterred. Hence, we will unravel the faces behind this show of shame.
