Sir Bisong Emmanuel (KSJI) aka EqualValue, a grassroots politician, businessman and a contender of the Obanliku State House Constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023, addressed his teaming supporters and followers on Tuesday, in Utuhu, Obanliku Local Government Area on the sacking of the 20, Cross River State Lawmakers, by Justice Taiwo, Taiwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja who defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with stolen mandate, as justice for the electorates and democracy.

He stated thus, “one does not need to be a lawyer to know that these people acted against the mandate they were given and as such it’s against natural justice.

“I think the judiciary did the needful to protect our democracy. I expect the former lawmakers to respect this judgement and proceed on appeal, if they so wish and not to feign ignorance and affront justice, which by itself, is contempt of Court.

“This is absurdity and an insult to the collective will of the people that voted them through the Party in 2019.

“This judgement has become a clarion call and will bring sanity to our polity, and politicians would rather now concentrate on delivering on their mandate instead of jumping from one party platform to another, and thinking of hiding their inept and corrupt practices.

“The judgement is in line with natural justice,” he concluded.

It will be recalled that, Sir. Bisong, EqualValue was himself, a frontrunner in the 2019, House of Assembly Election for Obanliku State Constituency under the platform of the PDP.

Sir. Bisong, has been critical of the Ayade’s Administration for misleading Cross Riverians and especially the Obanliku people and has decided, the talk truth to power, no matter the consequences.
