…Sen. Jarigbe commission projects while on the Campaign Train…
Yesterday, the Campaign and Victory enactment train of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) For the election of Hon. Mike Ede Usibe stormed GABU, YACHE, ECHUMOFANA, OKUKU, and UGAGA wards with mammoth crowd following/welcoming them in the aforementioned wards.
The Campaign train that was led by the Chairman of the Campaign Council and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Director General of the Campaign Council, Dr. Raphael Ogar Oko, witnessed unprecedented turnout of supporters across Party lines, PDP elders, leadership and stakeholders including women and youths. The massive turnout as a sign of acceptability is the assurance of Victory for Mike Usibe and PDP come 26th February, 2023.
Senator Jarigbe and the PDP team took time to Commission projects across the wards, assuring of more projects if Usibe is elected into the HoR to compliment on the wonderful work of Jarigbe. According to Jarigbe, “you all voted me massively, I’m holding this seat in trust for you ‘my people’. I will do everything humanly possible to serve you well. PDP has been Commissioning projects, PDP has about 4 projects in each of the 24 wards of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, what has APC done for our people.? Usibe will compliment on my work and do much more for the constituency. Vote for him Saturday and don’t be intimidated, stay and protect your votes until it is announced at the collation center.”
The DG, Dr. Raphael Ogar Oko, enjoined supporters to remain unwavering, unperturbed in face of intimidation. “A vote for PDP is a vote for continous projects. On the election day, go out and vote massively for PDP, stay with your vote and refuse to be intimidated bearing in mind that you’re in your territory, your country and no one can intimidate you.”
The PDP candidate for the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency Bye-Election, Hon. Mike Usibe assured supporters and party faithful of his readiness to serve them meritoriously, if elected. He also pledged his commitment to compliment on the good work of Senator Jarigbe, consolidate on his human-capital and infrastructural development, in making sure that projects are trickled down to every nook and cranny of the constituency, and constituents are adequately empowered. “Vote for me, Vote PDP, I’m your own, I will not disappoint you.”
In Okuku ward, the ward of Barr. Godwin Offiono aka Goffio, former PDP aspirant for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, #Goffio pleaded with his supporters to continue to give their unflinching support to Usibe and PDP. He pleaded with some aggrieve supporters to forgive and forget and embrace the party for the victory ahead is crucial and paramount to our existence as a party. He thanked supporters for turning up enmass in his ward (Okuku).
The constituents of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency will be coming out on Saturday 26th February to elect a House of Representatives member of their choice for the remainder of the months before 2023 General election. Hon. Mike Ede Usibe is the candidate of the performing Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the preferred candidate for the election against the opposition Parties.
