
He made the call at the U.J. Eauene International Stadium, Calabar, today during the maiden All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Summit, which according to the Organisers was to thank the governor for his friendly disposition to the youths both in government and politics.
According to Ayade, in his admonition of the youths in his government and those in politics, that they have done excedently well and deserve every support and he advised that their destiny was in their hands and not any man but God.
His address thus: “Don’t be intimidated by the circumstances of your birth. Always put your mind above your problem because it is by so doing that your body will follow.
“Nigeria has made much progress but it’s not noticeable because young people have not been brought into governance.
“My belief in the youths is unshaken and I am going to create an expansionist programme to accommodate more youths.
“I will also create a Social Welfare Scheme for the youths to accommodate 30,000 and I challenge them to always think big and stay on the part of morality as the future is now,” he concluded.

The Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Hon. Oden Ewa, in his welcome address said, the APC Youth Summit was the very first of it’s kind in the State, and to appreciate and say thank you to the governor for his youths inclusive in governance.
He eulogised governor Ayade for his sterling leadership qualities that has propelled the youths with the future is now and not tomorrow to engage the elders and let them realised that, we have come of age with capacity and experience to take our rightful place in governance and politics as it was in the past before the noose dive of our polity.
