The people of Ikom Local Government Area on Saturday 12th February asserted their endorsement on Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa as their candidate for the house of Senate In the forth Comming 2023 general elections.
The Ikom PDP chapter chairman made the remarks during the valentine day Celebration Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa had with the Ikom PDP family, where Rt Hon Ewa said politics is only interesting when you consistently interact with your people and make them a priority in your leadership irrespective of the office you occupy, that a good representative needs the opinions and impact of his people, the same way they need his own which is the only means to identify the core areas of development needed by them and that has been his style of politics and will continue same even as he becomes senator of the central Senatorial district, iterating that, the Ikom people would benefit greatly in the developmental Projects he will drive to the entire central Senatorial the same way he did for his people when representing them at the state and National assembly.
The Ikom people said for Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa who’s legislative Performances are inimitable added to his modest and complaisant personality, he has earn their endorsement. Adding that them in ikom do not believe or depend on politics of money and arrogance which they have spotted out in so many politicians around the state, but rather believe in politics of integrity, performance and accessibility, qualities that are embeded in Rt Hon Bassey Eko Ewa.
