Ntufam Ekpo Okon, one time former PDP State Chairman in Cross River State declared total support for the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Gershom Bassey.

According to the former PDP state Chairman, his total support for Gershom is based on his track record of excellence, integrity and accountability in public service.

The former  PDP state leader extolled the good virtue of Bassey as one of the founding fathers of PDP in Cross River State, developer, and season administrator who has demonstrated leadership experiences to qualify him to emerge as the next Governor of the State in 2023, owing to his footprint he left behind  as Managing Director of  CRS Water board, Odukpani oil and gas, National Hospital and facilitation of Odukpani roads construction. He disclosed this when the “Eagle” led his team members to pay Christmas homage to the good people of Odukpani.

In the event, Bassey had a bouquet of handshake from his people. Culturally speaking, a handshake is often handed to heroes and people who just did something BIG or unusual. In that case,  Distinguished Senator Gershom has done tremendously well as a leader and still desire to do more.
