This is a call to all well meaning individuals, Community and Religious leaders to encourage their followers to patronize our facilities instead of running to traditional medicine dealers whose professionalism remains a doubt.
For our staff and volunteers, We will continue to strive for better welfare for our staff and ensure that their needs are well attended to, as an encouragement to give in their best at all times.
In terms of professionalism and staff behavior, We have already set up a team to ensure that, mismanagement and poor attitude to work are curtailed so that everyone will get full value for services in our facilities.
In the area of adaptation to new work ethics, we are going to organize training for staff to abreast them with new trends in family planning, immunization, antenatal, infectious diseases and other clinical services especially now that there is huge traffic as a result of the lunch of the state social health insurance scheme.
I must appreciate the efforts of their excellencies, the Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade and his amiable wife, the state deputy Governor and his wife, Professor Ivara Esu and Mrs Omotunde Esu, the speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Eteng Jones, and other members of the state house of Assembly, the Commissioner for Health, Dr Betta Edu and other Directors and staff in the state Ministry of health, Directors and staff of Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Directors of Local Government Health Authority, Directors in the State Health Agency, Local and International Partners, health stakeholders and other concerned Citizens, take our words and believe in the process as we cruise on a rollercoaster of ever improving health services.
