The Chairman,Cross River State Privatisation Council, Mr John Monday Odoh has advice young couples all the country to involve God in their marriage for a successful marital home.

Udoh stated this in an interview with newsmen in Ogoja during a wedding ceremony held in honour of Mr and Mrs Monday Ogonu.

In his word “Add God to your life, hold God very tight in your marriage, you know they’re storms, trials and temptations that will come in marriage; if you hold your God very firm you will be able to overcome”

Taking his reading from the Holy Bible of Romans chapter eight verse thirty seven (Rom 8:37), Odoh pontificates that for marriage to be successful, couples must hold Jesus very tight.

“I refer you also to the wedding in Canaan, when Mary the mother of Jesus noticed that the wine was finished and went to the son and said son wine is finish”

“Sometimes in marriage wine may finish,so you need somebody to revive and revitalise the marriage and that man is Jesus” he averred.

He also stressed the need for young people to have something doing before venturing into marriage for a better marital home and bliss noting that men must sustain their home for them to be relevant and attract peace to their homes.

The Chairman use the occasion to pray God to grant the young couples the grace to continue to grow in love and understanding for the betterment of their home and society.

Speaking further, the young DG use the event to thank the Governor of Cross River State, Prof Ben Ayade, for granting young people like him and others the opportunity to serve in his government, maintaining that the venture has giving them the avenue to contribute their quota in building and adding value to the State and indeed the country.

Highlight of the occasion was dancing, and general merriment.
