The reward for job well done is the opportunity to do more. Every finish line is the start of another race. Such were the reactions that trailed the third edition of the Cross River State Spirit of Enterprise Awards organized by Leaders’ Den Foundation in Calabar, the State capital.
The ceremony which spotlights hard work and commitment, saw Cross River State Ministry of International Development Corporation (MIDC) bag the “Ministry of the Year” award along many other deserving awardees.
“To the world this is an Award, but to us at the Cross River State Ministry of International Development Corporation, this is the beginning of another race.
This Award is dedicated to my Digital Boss and Governor, Sen Prof. Ben Ayade and my dear Mother and First Lady, Dr Linda Ayade. Here’s to our hunger for success; our unflinching determination in the face of adversary; our commitment to a noble cause; our discipline amidst distractions; and our devotion to building the Cross River State of our dreams”, says Dr. Inyang Asibong, Commissioner for International Development Corporation.
The Spirit of Enterprise Award is an annual event designed to celebrate the resilience, commitment, discipline, determination and innovation of hardworking indigenes and residents of the State who are doing their bit to push the economic growth of the State.
