Comrade Coco Bassey, is a man who consciously and calculatively aims towards representing the good and dogged Students of the University of Calabar.
One of the temptation a leader encounters, is maneuvering to miraculously please everyone. Coco Bassey is one who is not only true to himself but also whose definite purpose is to serve others selflessly and not selfishly. A rare phenomenon in today’s environment of inauthentic, self centered and distressed leadership.
Comrade Coco, is an outstanding humanitarian, an administrator per excellence who has been a gift to his constituents, and Malabites and Malabresses through his pacesetting, visionary and transformational leadership style.
Coco Bassey, is a pragmatic leader who is cladded with truth for he is not after empty promises but he is passionate, respects and enhances the voice of a common man. I call him the TALK AND DO LEADER. His talk and Do style of leadership is evident and experientially relevant to the exponential growth the CRS Leo Club,Youth affiliated Lions Club International enjoyed during his time as President and Region Director respectively.
He has also been the brainchild behind many laudable humanitarian projects across Cross River State.
“One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the World” Malala Yousafzai. Coco is a teacher to every child, he is humility personified who can and would be easily accessible by all Students for his supreme mandate is; the welfarism of the Students in the University of Calabar in totality.
Like Jeremiah in Jer. 1: 4 -5, before he was formed in the womb, God have known him and anointed him as a Leader to all Nations.
