Dr. Amanke, in his goodwill message stated, “it’s a great joy seeing the continuous existence of the federating unit OBANLIKU @30. your journey to economic, political and soci-cultural limelight is not different from what your counterparts in the developed world have pass through. therefore, all hope is not loss as we your torch bearers are determined to see to its actualization.
To all the stakeholders I want to appeal to us to always put Obanliku at the forefront of our decisions and choices we make. Let’s remember that the children of the poor also needs education, the old woman in the village deserve primary health care, that our youths needs employment and empowerment to drive in businesst and to compete their contemporary, that equality is the best deal for peaceful coexistence and that basic amenities like: water, good roads and electricity is a right for our people.
As I we celebrate this year anniversary and festival let’s reflect on this famous thought:
“What do I owe to my people, friends, neighbors and my country? Such are the questions a virtuous man ought to ask himself”.
Long live Cross River state!
Long live Obanliku local government!!
Signed:
Hon. Dr. E.G. Amanke.
