Life is a cruel business govern by an unconscious mechanical force in which happiness has become an occasional episode in a general drama of pain but in all, life remains a game that if taken too seriously you’ll pay and if neglected you’ll have to pay and keeping or maintaining a balance has remain a consequential challenge even though we keep living and pushing.
Its been a journey I’ve taken for 30yrs plus today. Though they said life begins at 40, but I realized life begins the very moment you are able to start differentiating good from evil as that’s when you start giving account of your life. Will I say its been great and easy in this years? Yes great, easy No!
I’ve come to realize how emotional I could be, how sympathetic I am even to those who have bathed me with evil, wickedness and hatred, I’ve come to realize that my wish is for everyone to be happy, comfortable and fine, I wished everyday of my life that I put a smile in someone’s face no matter how difficult that could be and God willing I’ve been trying.
Growing up in a family where I get anything and just everything at my disposals I never realize that one day I’ll be left to stand on my own not for any reasons but because the World we find ourselves requires that. I struggled, scared of failing I quickly picked up myself and hit the ground running.
Today I can say life hasn’t treated me that badly, I wouldn’t say am so so comfortable but truth be told am HAPPY, HEALTHY AND FREE as that’s the greatest gifts that matters in life if you must live long. The whole journey has been turbulent and challenging especially when I graduated from the University and had no Job. Mehn it was hell but indeed, time heals all.
When I thought all hope was lost, when I was almost giving up on myself, when life wasn’t worth living anymore, God sent a Messiah, *DR BETTA EDU* in just a 3mins chat my entire World changed, everything about my joblessness is now history and to crown it all, am counted amongst our Youth Friendly and loving Governor’s Appointees.
Only an ingrate will bite such fingers, only a fool will back stab such magnanimity, she gave me a reason to live again, she saw those potentials no one saw in me, hers was even from my written communication as she never knew or saw me facially/personally when she offered me that job with no application letter, no CV submission, no Interview, nothing. Hey, Dr Betta Edu broke protocols just for me. She’s my Boss in whom I am well pleased.
Today, the best and greatest birthday gift I’ve ever had in my entire 33yrs of existence is from my Boss, my Principal, my Employer, my Mother, my Messiah and above all, the Queen of Health Dr Betta Edu. Am desperate and anxious of letting the cat out of the bag but in less than 24hrs we’ll flood the media with the news/gift. A thank you is juts too small to equate what this lady has done for me and my family. God’s grace, blessings and favor will never depart from you Boss.
I’ve come to have so many fosters mothers and fathers, as a child my parents kept telling me you can’t build your own world without people in it as such we must always leave for each other, now I understand what they truly mean. You all have contributed in making life smooth and comfortable for me, thank you is too small a word. For all of you have impacted in my life i say I remain indebted. I wish I could call all of you out but it will be too long a list. But I know you know yourselves.
God has blessed me with a wonderful family, a united and happy one, with good vibes, focused, united, and committed. I got this far because my family went all out to give me that unflinching support and I owe them much more than they owe me.
Let me not bore you with too much write-ups but in all let me thank and appreciate you yes you for everything, you’re the best and it feels cool always being you. We live for each other don’t forget.
