The Senator representing the Southern Senatorial District of Cross River State, Senator Gershom Bassey, has enjoined Stakeholders in the Southern Senatorial District across party and non party lines to mobilize the people of voting age to participate effectively in the ongoing online voter registration through the Inec online portal .
In a statement, Senator Bassey said the Southern Senatorial needs to capture its full capacity of voter strength through the ongoing online voter registration to enable the zone play the expected leadership role in 2023 elections.
According to Senator Bassey there is a general consensus in the State for power shift to the Southern Senatorial District in 2023 and therefore there is an urgent need for the south to capture its full voting strength through massive registration especially of the teaming youths who have been positioned to play key roles in the next dispensation in the State.
Senator Gershom, urged the youths to take the exercise seriously and should register en masse as it is a chance for them to deliver the Cross River State and Nigeria of their dreams.
To this therefore , he requests that they access the Inec online voters link @https://cvr.inecnigeria.org/
He admonished their sacrifices in the past and assured that every effort put forward to emancipate the people of Southern Senatorial District (SSD) and the State at large will never be in vain and that Cross River State of our Dreams is POSSIBLE.
