The PDP Women Leader of Amunga Ward Chapter, in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State, Mrs. Maria Ujabang, slummed and died in Sankwala, during the Party Mega Rally.

Mrs. Ujabang, slummed and died barely minutes after welcoming the teaming Party faithful’s to Sankwala, the Local Government Headquarters.
No sooner had she made her Speech; and according to her, “I want to welcome you all to this Mega Rally and on behalf of the PDP Women in Amunga Ward. My DNA and every Amunga woman is PDP!
It may interest us to know that, from 1999 to date, we’ve voted the PDP 100% and now is no exception! My message to the Leaders of the Party at Local, State and National level is; No Shaking and assured the leadership of the party that irrespective of seeming defection, they’re 100% intact for the PDP!
She accompanied her speech with the Party’s victory song.

The Party Leader in Obanliku, Mr. Peter Akpanke, who immediately swung into action and detailed his private SUV that carried Mrs. Ujabang, to the Obanliku General Hospital (Model) and upon her arrival, she was declared; dead by the Team of Medical personnel who attended to her.

It’s rumored that her death is never unconnected with High Blood Pressure, hence, she has a history of BP.
Her corpse has since been deposited at the Hospital, morgue.

The EpistleNews Obanliku correspondent who was at the Rally, was privy to the wailing of PDP members whom majority described the late Mrs. Marie Ujabang, as an exceptional and excellent woman of virtue in all ramifications.
