Senior Special Assistant Creative Economy, Emmanuel Etim Congratulates CEO FAD Group, Fidelis Duker On His Recognition  By FG As One Of 60 Nigerians In Film And Video Industry Who Have Made Immense Contributions In The Last 60 Years.
The Senior Special Assistant Creative Economy, Mr. Emmanuel Etim has congratulated the CEO FAD Group, Mr. Fidelis Duker on his recognition  by Federal Government of Nigeria as one of 60 Nigerians In Film And Video Industry who have made contributions in the last 60 years.
In a message to the veteran Film Director and one time President, Directors Guild of Nigeria DGN, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State said “Your contributions in the Film Industry in the last 60 years in Nigeria is unprecedented. As you make your imprint in the media sector in the next few decades, we are sure of the results.”
He added “Cross River State is blessed to have someone like you in the state’s Creative Economy sector”. With over 25 years experience in the entertainment industry, Fiselis Duker is one of Nigeria’s foremost filmmakers with over 80 different motion picture content to his credit.
The Calabar born film maker also serves as consultant on film and the creative sector to Ethiopia, Madagascar and Botswana and has been speaking and presenting papers on film and creative industry in over 45 different countries.
The Film Director turn Media boss is presently making his mark in the media sector with the establishment of FAD 93.1 fm and FAD 360 TV in Calabar, the Cross River State capital. FAD 93.1 fm marked 3 years of broadcasting recently.
Some prominent personalities who also congratulated the film industry expert include the Cross River State Commissioner for Commerce, Mrs. Rosemary Archibong,  Commissioner for International Development Cooperation Dr. Inyang Asibong and Director General, Border Communities Development Commission Mr. Noel Ugbong.
Others include renowned actor Segun Arinze, Africa Independent Television AIT reporter in Cross River State Rasheed Olanrewaju,  a lawyer and public commentator Barr. George Fortune etc.
The compendium was published in commemoration of Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day Anniversary which was marked on 1st October,  2020.
