The Director General, Cross River State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (CRSPHCDA) Dr Janet Ekpenyong is felicitating with health workers across the state and all Cross Riverians as the world marks the Resurrection of Jesus Christ “Easter” today April 12th 2020.

Dr. Ekpenyong, who stated that its time to reflect on the significance of the season especially with the Covid19 outbreak which has shifted priorities from materialism to self consciousness ,urged everyone to remain hopeful as this phase just like every other phases will pass and life return to normal.

She urged all Cross Riverians to support the efforts of His Excellency, Senator Professor Ben Ayade in providing quality,  affordable, accessible and reliable Health Care to all Cross Riverians and dwellers here.

“In this trying period,we have an opportunity to sit and reflect on our lives and offer services to humanity without putting monetary benefits ahead.
I am so proud of all my staff both those in the urban and rural areas who work tirelessly day and night to translate Governor Ben Ayade’s policies on health in ensuring that our people enjoy good, quality, affordable and accessible healthcare irrespective of where they are.
You have shown great qualities and dependable attributes that worth rewards and am sure that in due time, such rewards and privileges will be enjoyed.
I urge you all to continue to offer humanitarian services to members of the community in which you work in.

To members of our communities, the Primary Healthcare Development Agency will continue to offer  24 hour services all through this period for the health and well-being of our women, children and the vulnerable groups with an assurance from us to continue to place our paid responsibilities over our personal interests in line with His Excellency, Senator Professor Ben Ayade’s mandate to offer and create a world class health service and institution for all cross Riverians and residents here.She therefore urged everyone to celebrate responsibly with caution in solidarity with the social distance and other Covid19 preventive measures.
